Soft as a baby's bum

Baby Products The Daily Rumble
As a mum my bathroom cabinet is full of baby products. Packed with items to clean, moisturise and care for my little one's delicate skin. These products aren't just for babies and their peachy little bums, oh no.

Baby products are absolutely multi use - if they're good enough for my newborn they are totally good enough for my skin and my face too.

Here are 5 baby products that have a hidden budget-friendly beauty use.

Baby oil - The Daily Rumble

Johnson's Baby oil - £2.49 (200ml)
This particular one is formulated for newborns, so is fragrance free. Not only is it a great body moisturiser (use on damp skin to really lock in the moisture) it also makes a pretty good eye make-up remover. It will even budge waterproof mascara.
If I run out of eye-makeup remover I reach for this. Take a splash on your fingers and gently rub it over your eyes (keep them closed). It makes a mess (panda-eye alert) but breaks down and dissolves eye makeup easily. Do that and then wash your face. Easy.

Baby Lotion - The Daily Rumble
Baby Lotion - The Daily Rumble

Johnson's Baby Lotion - £1 (300ml)
I love using this as a body moisturiser as it smells devine, that perfect baby smell *sigh*. A little drop will smooth dry patches and keep your skin soft but that's not it's only use. It also makes a lovely cream cleanser. Pop a small squirt on a cotton pad and use it to remove your make-up. It's especially good if you have dry skin as it's so creamy and moisturising. (Plus it's the perfect shade of pink!).

Waterwipes
Baby wipe - the Daily Rumble

Baby Wipes - £2.49
These are Water Wipes, my absolute favourite. They are 99.9% water and 0.1% fruit extract. (Most other wipes are packed full of chemicals, even the "sensitive" ones). Wipes are another great make-up remover. They won't cleanse your face fully but they're great for getting off a decent amount of slap before you wash it. Great for removing lipstick/lipgloss.

Sudocrem
Sudocrem

Sudocrem - £2.99 (125g)
This stuff is majorly multi-use, it's not just for nappy rash. It's perfect on sunburn, cuts and grazes or any sore patches but I love to use it on spots/zits. I pop it on before bed and as it's antibacterial it helps reduce and heal any blemishes. It's a great product to take on holiday too as it has so many uses.

Lanolin
Lanolin
Emma Rumble The Daily Rumble

Lansinoh Lanolin - £9.99
Okay, this technically isn't a baby product however you'd probably only have a tube of this if you have a baby so I'm going to include it.
It's an amazing must-have nipple cream for breast feeding mamas but it also makes a really good lipbalm/lipgloss. It's incredibly thick and greasy but a tiny drop rubbed into the lips soothes any cracks/dryness and gives a great sheen too.

So there you have it, baby products aren't just for babies!
Warning: If you use baby lotion as a moisturiser you won't stop sniffing your skin - try not to do it in public!

Do you use any baby products on yourself? What are your favourites?
